hi monty why dont you make more? and is it possible you can make a online one where you meet people ? and choose your job but make the exp rates like a private server? it would be awesome so basically like a online pivate server

Because that's huge work... Even making clients and servers connecting with eachother. It's tons of stuff that should be done WAY over this little, little flash game tutorial... So first of it'd take him plently of time to make. Secondly, if you need this tutorial you wouldn't be able to do about anything with an multiplayer online version - Just changing something in the client doesn't mean the server will accept the possible packet unless you edit the server aswell, and there's alot of stuff to be done to improve small actions.

I'm making this in hopes of seeing some new talent to show itself and a more steady inflow of Maplestory related flash games.
I'll be splitting this up into multiple parts, each part requiring the part beforehand.

Day 1 - Grabbing the player sprites
1 - Go to www.maplesim.com or open your Bannedstory program.
2 - Create a character.

3 - Click 'File', then 'Save Sprite Sheet'

4 - Choose the character layer, then press save.
5 - Choose or make a directory; You will need to come back to this later.
6 - Browse to the saved file.
7 - Right click the file, then select "Extract Here"

8 - Day one Completed!

13 - Press F7 and drag 'stand1_1_5.png' onto the stage.
14 - Repeat stage 13 for 'stand1_1_6.png' & 'stand1_1_7.png'.
15 - Go to Frame 2 & zoom in to 400%

Why does my char keeps doing weird moves after I pulled the
_root.foreBg.offSetX += speed*1.5;
_root.backBg.offSetX += speed/2;
at the line 17 and 27 i think?
Or can you make a download as an starting source?
