There's another way.
Reduce CO2 emission, breathe less.

Hmm if the water manages to be frozen then when they drop it..well it`ll be like meteor again (it`ll melt and fall to earth)

It wont just waste water..
hopes someone gets hit

buutttt...... instead of letting them drop back to the earth, it would be more logical if they put it on another planet, even if it does not have any gravity, like mars or sumthing, in hope of creating some life with the water and the tiny microscopical creatures living in it.
