Our Society is Stupid

Society sucks. Lets face it, half of the people in our world today are sissified, dumbed down, shadows of what people once were. I mean really. Jersey shore? How in the HELL did these people get famous? They do nothing except live their day to day adventures of stupidity. Case and point, society is dumb. Is it possible that we've really down-graded ourselves this far from where our society started? I know for a fact that this is not what our (American at least. Idk about the rest of you and where you're from) founding fathers had in mind.

As I said before, most people are a bunch of sissies. In school now a days we have anti bullying rallies because "its such a huge problem". I do see how it could be a problem but kids need to learn how to fight back. Someone starts coming over and giving you trouble? Then you stand up for yourself. A lot of kids just disregard or cry about it and end up holding it inside until it causes other shit to happen. You see kids at my school don't try things with me because they know that I'll stand up for myself and fight back. Kids need to learn how to defend themselves and I'll be damned if I dont teach my kids that.

It seems that the only real people with any integrity left are people who have served in the armed forces. They know the difference between right and wrong and fight everyday to protect the freedoms that we share. They are truly intelligent and incredible individuals. Even back in the 40's and 50's, hell even the 60's and 70's, people were better than they are now. Back then if you got in a fight with someone, you two kicked the crap out of each other then shook hands and became friends. Now a days you have people getting in fights and beating each other half to death because they have no idea what a human life is worth.

Now the media isn't all to blame but it really encourages this kind of dumb behavior and horrible ethics. It seems to put people that are really horrible and just downright stupid people in the spotlight. Nobody seems to think anymore. Its a shame that nobody can seem to grasp logic at all anymore because the only things they're worried about is material possessions and having more of all the dumb shit that they think can make their lives better instead of trying to become a functioning member of society.

This being said, I have almost no hope for society anymore. I hope that my rant has sort of opened your eyes, but whatever. I'm done trying to convince people how to be, so why not show them why this is wrong. If you have anything to contribute then feel free to post it below. Even if you just want to comment on what I said, then again feel free to comment.

People like to see "dramatic" actions, which is why ignorant people are famous.
Usually, intelligent people know what is good and bad, or right and wrong. Whatever, you prefer. Which is why most intelligent people aren't famous.Also Jersey shore got famous because...(Read above.)

Bullies usually pick on someone, who is smaller then themselves. Since the bully is bigger, this will intimidate the person being bullied. In a sense, bullies prey on the weak. In my opinion, bullies are "cowards", because they mess with the weak.

As I said, people like "dramatic" actions, so the media will investigate on it.
I am pretty sure that in America's mind, they only thought of Freedom.

I agree that people in the Armed Forces have integrity(Other people included.), but you don't have to exaggerate your statement that much.

Note: You should of seen society in the 1970's, big wreck in my perspective.

i think most of whats on tv is crap. tons of people are scared to fight even up or without a weapon. thats a joke.
i like how lazy people keep jobs while hard workers cant get one. i think the world is falling apart from reality these days.

Here, I'm like the only gothic/emo sorta person who isn't afraid or bothered about how I look.
I wear totally random s**t on non school uniform days
or trips
etc,etc
And everyone hates it. But I don't give a damn (:

But I don't want to bother with bullies

I will not fight back
which then is a better option for both sides
Ignoring them can also make them piss off.

yeah why pay to watch crap all the time.
as i get to being out the house more and playing music i find myself in a better world then tv.
staying away from people that are mean or act like they are better then everyone else.
but keeping in mind the hard times to come once again as i prepair to take off with a nothing in my pockets and hopes of finding a better town with work in it.
psh mountain life is for retired or people that want to be left alone.

There is no "right" nor "wrong" in this world.
It's a matter of perspective; what you perceive as "right" may be perceived as "wrong".
IMO, we're all separated by different realities; this is what makes each individual unique.
"Society" is merely a word that bounds us to this group, no more, no less a word.
People tend to lean towards a subject that becomes famous, having such a mindset that, if they don't like this, then they're a social outcast. Obvious brainwashing of television as well as the interweb, "society" is influenced by products released, always grasping at an object. All in all, Society is materialistic, and the higher ups know of this, providing us more and more so we can spend more on useless objects. These useless objects are fabricated in the eyes of someone whom may perceive this object as a necessity. We continuously want more, "need" more to the point of lunacy.
But then, what view would you have, if you don't "want" continuously?
Aren't you merely "alone" in this view of yours; are you to rebel against this view that's been established?
Take picketers, they start out with some justification, but eventually, it's just another mindless group that drops out once everything becomes boring, and everyone becomes disinterested. They become corrupt, brainwashing others into joining forces. Take this new "Tea Party" group. Just look, sooner or later, they'll fall apart on the road, simply because they lack society's interest. Take terrorism, as well as guatamela bay for hypocrisy. Justifying their actions by saying they do this for a "God", torturing people for the sake of "good".
Take 9/11. The result is the blind arrest of thousands of sterotypes; Bush legalized this ransacking of the country for Muslims, when some of the terrorists who committed 9/11 weren't even Muslim. It is unjustifiable.
Take the mosque that is to be built at the 9/11 site. Again, the role of stereotyping plays here. Society blames Muslims specifically for committing 9/11, but they leave the facts and blindly follow rage, pointing fingers, protesting.
In a way, we're like cattle, being herded around by what "Society" thinks is right.
This is the mindset of society: What is uninteresting is forsaken; popularity is what makes products thrive in this world, as well as the economy.
