Maple Halo Chapter 1

Hey guys This is Leo. I decided to make one more Full FF before Quitting. Hope you guys Like it. Give me a Honest answer about it. Please. Ty.

He squinted, Then he opened his eyes.

Night Layed upon the forest. There was no moon but the stars shed fading light
across the village.
They have no name.
They have no power.
They were in the middle of no where.

But what they have, Is the Halo. They just don't know it.

Chapter 1


Legend tells it. There was 5 Halos. 4 was destroyed. 1 is remaining. Hidden somewhere in Victoria island.
Just somewhere. A small Yellow ring that would slip easily on anyone's finger. But with such Power, You can destroy
A Mountain, with a Snap.

"Mama, Why was the Halos destroyed?" Leo Asked.

His Mum didn't reply.
Leo lived in a village. It had no name and probably no one in victoria island knows about it
he lived in a Small house just enough to fit 3 people. His dad left before he was born so it was
only him and his mum. The village didn't have much food or natural resources so hunting was hard.
The house was made out of dried out firewood and covered with leather so the heat would we trapped
inside the house. Everyone elses house was about the same. They didn't have much to do there.
When they did have time most of the Little ones would go to the elders and listen to their stories.
The most Common story was the Halo.

Leo Ran out of the house and walked around the village. He never liked to listen to the elders cause
He Thought it was boring. He walked into the Forest. It was all damp, and wet. Leaves were
everywhere. He Kneeled down but something flashed in the corner of his eye. Leo Froze.
He moved back, as the light flashed brightly into his eyes again. He looked at it, His Stomach grumbled
loudly, Once, Then again, and then again.

"What the he-"

His stomach grumbled again before he could finish his sentence.
He walked toward the light and there it was. A rock, well at least He thought it was. He poked it with
his finger. As soon as it moved Leo fell on his back

"Maybe its alive and edible"

Leo was too hungry to think twice. He grabbed it, then shoved it in his mouth. It tasted like nothing
so he swallowed it. the dried Rock rolled down his throat, it felt like as if it froze his throat.
he freezed, He couldn't breath. He grabbed his neck and tried to swallow it. He failed.
He fell to his knees and Pushed his Stomach then he started coughing very hard. He had swallowed it...

he didn't stop coughing. He just kept going till he felt like he was going to cough his throat out .
But then He stopped instantly as if nothing had happened. He looked up into the blue sky. His stomach felt
Full as if he had just ate till he was full. He felt weird, no weird is too small to describe what he felt.
He felt Completely different.

"I better get home."

Leo stood up with his wobbly Legs.
He took One step, Then another as if he had just learned how to walk. When he got home it was supper time.
Although he didn't felt like eating he still ate the food. Right after, he puked.
His mother stared at him as if he was crazy.

"YOU PUKED? ARE YOU SERIOUS? DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THE FOOD WE EAT COSTS????"
"Yes i do mum..."
"MANY PEOPLE DON'T EVEN EAT BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO POOR AND YOU THROW UP?"

Leo was silent. and then he couldn't hold it in any longer.


"Mum, I ate a rock."
"I DON'T CARE"
She shouted.

Leo Stood up.

"I'm Gonna go Train."

Leo walked out of the house.
He didn't really go training. He just Climbed up a mountain and sat at the cliff as he watched the
sunset.
Then out of no where Leo heard a blood curling scream.
He ran back to his village. He couldn't believe his eyes.
His Village was burned down and turned into ashes.

"Mom?"
Leo shouted

Someone emerged from the ground. His skin was pale white and blood covered his whole body.
"oh-h myy godd..."
Leo Ran into the forest With his eyes closed The wind blew against him really hard as if he was
on a roller coaster. He opened his eyes a little but then closed him. The wind was too strong.
Then Leo Knew. He was running faster than a speeding bullet.

"HELP ME AHHHH!"
Someone screamed.

Leo stopped running.
He had to go back to save the remaining villagers.
He Ran back as fast as possible. When he reached the village just about everyone was turned into
a Zombie. A young was behind him.

"MY GOD ITS THE METIC"
He said

" The what!?"
Leo asked

"METIC! The searchers of the halo!"

"Why Are they here!?"

"I DON'T KNOW, THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO BE A MYTH AND SO IS THE HALO"

" DON'T GET BITTEN IF YOU DO YOU WILL BECOME ONE OF THEM!"
He shouted.

At the point a metic lunged at the young and bit his arm.

"AHHH"

The young took out a knife and shoved it into the metics head.
It fell instantly and turned into mud.

"DAMN IT!"

the young's his arm started turning pale white as it started crawling up to his shoulder
The young took a knife and sliced his arm off.
He laughed as he raised his shaking hands and pointed at his arm.

"I wanna live.." He said.

At that point a Metic emerged from beneath him and bit him right between the legs.

"AHHHHHHH" The blood curling scream filled the air.

The young Took his Knife and Sliced off he metics Head.

"no no no no no no no NOOOO"

The young screamed.
At that point,
Leo ran.
he didn't know where, He didn't know witch way. He just ran.

He ran so Fast he couldn't stop and "THUD" He ran right into a Wooden Wall.

he ran so hard into it the Wall Broke and fell into a million pieces.
he looked around. The land scape was different Trees that was hundreds of metes tall was everywhere.
He was in Ellina. Houses was everywhere and he just broke the entrance.
heads Poked out of the houses. As Leo sat there.
Almost Everyone in the village Came from their houses and Stood around him.
Leo stood up as he said

"I'm sorry, I'll fix the entrance."

A mage appeared from thin air.

"Who Are you, And why are you here."

Leo was silent.
The mage Placed the end of his staff against Leo's Forehand.
It Started Glowing. A bright Green.
Then it happened.... It just Happened.....
