so, the idea is to have a rankings page,contests to win posts, and every week, you can press a button to get a number of posts

yes, but if the top poster gets a reward then it will be even MORE difficult to catch up to him right? and this would also just incourage spam

no, i meant contests as in like finding a picture, and best pic wins or something like that

He is thinking about having a karma thing, like when you contribute to the site and stuff.
