MACE FTW lol i have a mace page with a maple doomsinger - stats r +17 str 89 atk 3 def and 27 acc - therefore i beleive maces r awesome

If you really want low cost, than use maces, but Swords are better.
And cooler.

Maces are good if you are ok with spending money to get a good one.

Axes have higher max atk
and i guess maces r the fastest

well, if you are willing to spend a lot of money on a well scrolled mace it is good, because they attack fastish.
however all the weapons pretty much suck if you aren;t willing to spend a certain amount of money.

nope theyre slow by the time they hit 3 times swords aalready hitted the monster 5 times and then it does alot of more dmg then and i serious mean alot
