5 Years ago...

That was a very special year... 2005

2005 was the year maplestory's beta was released.

I wish I was in beta. Maplestory's changed so much since then.

I'll compared.



Beta
-Henseys was a popular town, you'd see groups of people you know who you commonly see. Had like 50 people in the map.
-4mil mesos was considered very rich.
-Level 70+ was 'pro'
-Balrog, apparently was 'the most terrifying thing ever'
-Maple island and Victoria island were the only islands.
-Different world map from now
-Different hud, and a blue cursor
-Just Warrior, Mage, Bowman and Thief.

Today
-Henseys is ridiculously full and you see strangers everywhere, but still see your friends. Over 100+ people there.
-100mil+ is considered very rich.
-Level 120+ is 'pro'
-Pink Been is 'the most terrifying thing ever'
-Too many islands to list.
-Huge world map
-Maplestory has a 3RD hud now. Still retains a Hand Shaped Cursor.
-Now we have 16 Classes. 2 more on the way!
