TobiSchiffer wrote:hello people ive been having the same problem, and i have already sent mails to them but no answer,i have also watched that in some tutorials of how to download(their from last year)bannedstory and when they enter to maplesim.com it seems that where it says download, simulators, forums, etc. theres an extra one that says database wich doesnt appear now, also in the forums there hasnt been new post since last year and either at bsbackgrounds so i tried to register to see if there was someone that is still there but they both(maplesim forums and bsbackgrounds forums) say that the authors of this page have disabled new registrations or something like that so i think something has happened to them(thats why they dont answer or dont let register).
so i came to a final solution.if theres someone that has bannedstory installed and has winrar and an account at megaupload, rapidshare, etc. just pack it into a winrar and upload it to megaupload, rapidshare, etc. cause all the other downloads from megaupload, etc. say that the file doesnt exist or has expired or sometimes it says that it has been removed by the uploader.so plz if u have bannedstory 3.0 upload it and post the link.
EDIT:if u got a cool easy functioning software that its FREE plz give me the link.
TY
hey guys well ive checked over adobe still they can't fix on the fourms they say alot of things about it this guy said:
I'm sorry for not being able to contribute more to the discussions going on here at Adobe, but I have been stymied by a particular issue, and the only place I could turn to was these forums.
During the past week, a certain application that requires AIR to run released their latest update. Upon attempting to update to that latest version, I have been continuously told during installation that "The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author."
I would attempt to follow the instructions given, however the support for said application is quite useless, as I have not been able to get any sort of answer or instructions from them. It seems that this problem has affected other similar applications, a Google Search revealed people had the same #3003 error that has been plaguing me. Unfortunately, upon researching this problem, including these forums, I am still nowhere closer to an answer. I tried a few simple fixes; uninstalling AIR and reinstalling, downloading an earlier version of AIR, repairing the OS Permissions, but none of that worked.
Any assistance that could be sent my way would be incredibly appreciated, if this was another application I would not mind as much, but it has become quite essential over the past few months. I would love to post more information that could assist everyone, but I'm not sure which information would be relevant and necessary. Again, I am asking for any assistance.
then this guy replied:
Try
1. Uninstalling the previously installed application (delete the application folder in program files, if left over after uninstall)
2. Check for enough space in C:
3. Install from the local drive (there are issues with sidecar installers and network installs)
then another guy replied:
I would do that, except I'm on a Mac, so there is no C: drive.
then the guy just then said:
Well in that case
1. Delete the concerned application folder from the systems Applications folder
2. Check for enough space in main drive
3. Install from the local drive (there are issues with sidecar installers and network installs)
see well see if that works but im not testing if this actchally works
