Maplestory

A while ago I had an idea. why not combine maplestory, and pacman? the basic concept was simple, each level was harder monsters, eventually being a boss. you are a noob and need money for your equips. so, you go around looking for mesos while monsters chase you. you can also power up with the Onyx apple boosting your abilities so that you can kill the monsters.
Each level you finish increases your characters equips by 5 lvl's (ex. lvl 20 warrior stuff to lvl 25 warrior stuff) therefore enabling you to survive against stronger monsters.


I tried but I have not been able to get anywhere with this project, so i need someone to either help me make it or take it upon themselves to make it. please reply i this thread.

Learn some AS2 here.

Read these sections:
- Simple Buttons
- Clip Events
- Variables
- Basic Math
- Basic Movement
- Collision Detection

Try and start on your own, then if you have any troubles let me know.

Looking forward to it! Hope you have fun making it. Pretty awesome if there is a hidden portal in each level where u can get nx and customize your character ! But im not gonna push you into doing it just a suggestion! Cant wait :3

it's just that my laptop won't get AS2 and I hate working in my parent's office.....

My laptop, the one at my dads house, cant even work with falsh, it freezes up, ITS ANNOYING, but we are fixing it so, YAYAAY
