Ps2 wont read ay games!?

hey guys i havent played my old ps2 for a while cause i was hogging the computer the whole time and i feel like its gettin loneley
so i decided to play with it then when i putted a game in it loads then the ps2 logo pops up then this red screen pops up saying "Please enter a PlayStation 2 or a PlayStation 2 format disc"
and bored please help meh (only 1 game works "Killzone" BUT I WANT TO PLAY TOA!!!! (tales of the abyss))
(btw my ps2 is 6 years old :D and please do not post any dumb things)

Just keep trying.
the Ps2 does this when it gets old or you could try cleaning the disc holder

man im addcited to toa and clocked it once and i want to clock it again but i keep tryin but it wont work~~

it could be the laser that reads the disc. or like zeno said the lens. if its the lazer you're pretty boned cuz idk who replaces a LAZAH for ps2. if it is lens then you just gotta clean it

the thingy that the LAZERRRRR comes out of to read the games. if its dirty then the lazah cant come out and read the games

And the best thing about the Ps3 is that when it is spoilt take out the light diode den u can burn stuff like the green lasor!

Yeah...I heard you could do that with a PS3 diode... My friend did it with a Blu-Ray player...
