Chapter 2 : Generals Of Darkness

It was chaos, most of the once powerful Perion laid in ruins. The people in the weapon shop are still trying to restrain Craven from blowing their cover.

"You'll get us found!" one of the survivors said.

"LET ME GO!" shouted Craven, he pushed the others aside and ran for the exit. When he almost reached it, a person held a katana in front of his face to stop him. "MANJI, GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

"Don't be stupid!" Manji replied. "If you go out, we all will be dead, and I thought you are supposed to be the guardian of Perion, where were you when we were attacked?"

Craven bowed his head in shame. Actually, Dances With Balrog casted a spell on Craven and Rathmire, making them get lost in The Burnt Lands and avoided the Dark Wings. Dances With Balrog made the ultimate sacrifice.

"We can't stay here for long." said Manji. "I will break open a path and you guys run for it."

"What about you?" said Rathmire.

"I will find a way out myself." said Manji as he exited the weapon shop. It was follow by katana slashing sounds and bodies falling to the ground.

The survivors ran out of the weapon shop and went to the direction of Ellinia. Manji was holding back a whole row of Dark Wings. Just as Rathmire wanted to call back to him to remind him to run, about 40 arrows struck Manji, making him look like a strange porcupine, he fell to the floor and became still.

"Master, there are some weaklings running towards Ellinia, should we hunt them down?" asked a Dark Wing.

"No , my dear, we are going to resurrect our General Ember first..." replied the Black Magician.

Thus, they set off to Kerning's abandoned subway. The first thing they saw was a giant crystal.

"Ah.... General Ember, my trusty assisstant." The Black Magician raised his hands. "Anzemoufa..... JIE KAI!"

The crystal shattered and out came Ember, a black robed, white hair and masked 16 year old boy, the Black Magician's right hand assisstant.

"..... Master.... What happened...?" asked Ember Kibagami as he shook his head.

So, the Black Magician explained to Ember about Aran's seal that made him crystalised for 100 years. And about the tree.

"I see, Master, I am sorry I could not help you when the Tree...." apologised Ember.

"Do not worry my assisstant. You can make up for this if you-" the Black Magician materialised a picture "kill this person for me...."

"Yes master, as you please." said Ember as he teleported away.

The survivors were running towards Ellinia at full speed. But they were stopped by someone as the person teleported right in front of them.

"Which of you is Craven?" asked Ember. "Hand him over and I will let you guys go."

Rathmire, only thinking of his own safety, pushed Craven out of the group. Others fled while Craven took out his timeless sword.

"What do you want from me?" asked Craven.

"Oh nothing much, just your life!" shouted Ember as the floor beneath Craven's feet exploded. Craven dodged right in time.

"Pentagon! I summon you!" shouted Ember as a black coloured dragon emerged from a magic circle right beside Ember. It was huge. It was the size of private jet and it had a giant pentacle symbol on its head.

"Dark Fog!" shouted Ember while his dragon opened its mouth.

Craven dodged the fog and jumped behind Pentagon. He lifted his sword and ready to stab.

"Uh-huh, no can do." said Ember as Craven was knocked off his feet by a massive swipe of Pentagon's tail.

Next thing, Craven knew, was he was been pinned down on all four limbs by Pentagon. Its crushing weight was going to snap his limbs like a twig. Ember took out the timeless sowrd from Craven's hand.

"Fine sword you have here.." Ember touched the the blade of sword while nodding.

"Give it back!" said Craven.

"Ok if you want it..." with one massive swipe Craven's right arm fell to the floor, sliced off from his torso. The whole place was filled with Craven's scream of pain.

As Ember was getting ready to stab the whole sword into Craven's body-

BOOM!

Pentagon and Ember were blasted away by a massive Dragon Roar.

"Are you ok, Craven?" said a familiar voice.

"Thanks, Tiger..." said Craven as he was being helped up. The stump which was the joint linking his torso and his right arm were hurting badly.

"Hey, white haired kid!" shouted Tiger, the ears on the top of his hat twitched. "Pick on someone your own size!"

"This is gonna be fun...." said Ember as he rode onto Pentagon's back.

"Everyone evauate immediatly!" shouted Athena Pierce to the panicking crowd of Henesys. Everyone ran towards Ellinia. But little did they notice an orphan was not there.

"Why is everyone panicking?" said Dawn the 10 year old orphan, he had tidy brown hair and a skinny body.

Dawn was venturing the field of Henesys, oblivious to the Black Magician as he advances slowly to Henesys via Kerning.

"Wow!" said Dawn in amazement as he saw a glowing, big golden egg in the middle of the field. He picked it up.

"Maybe it's a cute dragon!." said Dawn happily.

"Put down the egg and raise your hands up." a Dark Wing said as he pointed his crossbow at Dawn.

Dawn's eyes widened with fear.
