Chapter 1
Salutations. My name is Prince Andre Demonica. You short-life humans must be wondering how I became prince of the great city of Demonica. Well every ten years, the city holds a vote on who to be prince if the King doesn’t have any heirs. The King’s son died in an attack by the angels while leading a group of new recruits from the real world to gates of the underworld. Since the recruits have little battle experience, they all failed to make it back to the gates of the underworld. He held a vote just a week ago. I was lucky enough to make it. The only weird thing is that I have to call the King my “father”. As Prince I get most of the things that I want. Next Year is what I really want. And what I really want on that year is to be king of Demonica. It is my goal, my wish, … my … destiny…
As I was walking down the Grand Hall, two guards greeted me, “Morning M‘lord”. It was a pleasant greeting. I went down the Amity Stairs to the dining room to have the “ Top of the Line” breakfast. When the food comes I smelled fish (Ew), pork (Yum), turkey (Yum), and eggs with human flesh (YUCK!). Don’t think that I am a short-live eating demon. I’m a bit nicer and friendly. I am what you call, a Gockgreet demon. They usually have black hair red eyes and usually doesn’t eat human flesh. Not like the Chaos Demons. They eat nearly anything that’s meat or edible! The Abyss Demon is a mix of Chaos and Gockgreets. But it doesn’t really matter what they eat do they? Or do you need to know? Oh well, moving on, the Chaos demons are the most skilled at swords, claymores, and spears. Gockgreets use swords, claymores, staffs, spears, and daggers. The Abyss Demons use bows, crossbows, and sling shots. (Most new recruits use sling shots because they usually punch rather than shoot) They are unable to be equipped with melee weapons because of a strange disability that makes them unable to handle a melee weapon. Here are pictures of Gockgreets, Chaos, and Abyss demons look like. Don’t worry, I’ll label them for you pity short-lives.
  
Chaos Gockgreet Abyss
Tomorrow is going to start my second week of being prince. I can’t wait for another day of commanding demons what to do. Sometimes I become generous and give poor people some money. Although my father (King) does not approve of this because he thinks I get TO generous and thinks that I am robbing the city chest. Literally, no, but most angels attack the great city thinking they can “steal” the Valiant Crystal which is the symbol of our nation. It shines bright red. When it gets upset then it turns murky blue. That’s sort of like an alarm! Only, it doesn’t ring or beep or makes a loud sound. When the Valiant Crystal turns murky blue, the Chaos demons get a sudden jolt in their hearts that tell them they need to hurry and get ready to protect Demonica from danger.
