What to become? F/P I/L

I was thinking about making an I/L or F/P Mage and not a cleric cuz i got one already so i wanna find out which one does most combos and mostly i think its I/L

F/P has changed alot now, i would play them rather than I/L considering the fact that Lightning Bolt has pretty bad damage compared to Fire Arrow.

the ice strike is good for i/l and the poison thing is good for training at high levels when u are low levels
