Maplestory

Gillian is making a new template for MapleAnime but we have no clue in what direction we should start.

Should it be a dark template, a bright template? Should it have Maplestory properties in it like a Jrrog flying around.. etc? If you have any feedback please post them below.

Hopefully it will give us an idea on how you guys want the new template. Or do you like the current template enough?

I've started some ideas, but to be honest i suck at designing things. Which means I suck at the designing part of making a template. Therefore I will post a preview of what I got so far -> Design. Tell us what you like and what you don't like.

The font/Logo is so bland.
Spice it up a little; why not re-use the one we have here?

Yeah the header is not how its going to look like but that wasn't my main concern in making the template. If anyone wants to make the header feel free.

Will there be characters in the banner?

how about a comic preview section? you already made one for videos and games. like 'Recently viewed comics'.

also, how about a selectable/customizable template? like the user chooses what is on their homepage, and the design, etc? I know it'd be a lot of work, but it would be awesome.

Finally, I know you have ignored me before, but how about a Fan fiction/ story section? it could be a part of a 'Members Works' section or something. other parts of 'Members Works' could include comics and videos! this would cut down on space used along the selection bar (you know, with Home, Forums, Flashgames, downloads, etc.) and encourage more people to write. Someone like zaylo could judge if a story was good enough to be put up in the official section.

Please don't ignore me lol.

I agree, Fanfics take just as much as work as comics.

I'm willing to code a fanfic section but you guys will have to tell me exactly what you want in it.

In my opinion The fanfic section should be divided into series.
For Example:
*top of page*

Triple 777 By Zaylo (avatar)
*brief description*

Questers sanctuary of light By Poke1024 (avatar)
*brief description*

Vampire's Life By MsMeowzers (avatar)
*brief description*

Etcetera...


then within the section you would put it into chapters..... for example:

This series is ongoing irregularly

Sign-Up topic

Prologue

Chapter one

Chapter two

Chapter three

Etcetera.

The chapter names would be links to the topics holding the stories. Users may Customize their Fanfictions (add/delete/edit links) by using a form that could be similar to:

Link to thread

Name of chapter/Segment/whatever.

And you could 'Submit a Series' to a queue which Zaylo or another mod could look through occasionally and approve/dissapprove your fanfiction. the form for this could be:

Name of Fan Fiction:

Chapter links (so that moderator of section can look fanfic over)

Brief description

What if I create sections in the fanfic forum, and automatically mirror them on the fanfic section? That would make it easy for authors to edit their works. They would just edit their works in the forums. When they save, the content will be automatically updated on the fanfic section.

how about you make a section per author that they are mods for, and a submittion section. we could put my and zaylo's guides in the submission section. How about if you write 3 good chapters in Zaylo's eyes, you can apply for your own section.

It could go something like:
