New Mapleanime site

Why did MapleAnime even shut down? I never really was told why...

Because some idiot who was authorised to the database deleted all the forum posts on the old site, and the most recent backup was 3 months old... And the old site was sort of slow, and the forums were glitchy, and there were some security issues around the site. So I decided to recode everything, but with improvements like phpBB3 forum and a simpler template and friendly urls. Example:

mapleanime.com/flash/play/Assassin-Vs-Mushmom

used to be

mapleanime.com/component/option,com_blabla/Itemid,147/itemidbla/blabla/39287424

The flash/download section is made very simple now and the site loads quicker. Also, phpBB3 brings lots of features.

Well, Gil went to a forum post and then i think his computer was infected by a virus from the forum, so he shut it down, but it was too late.

You guys heard of this new virus? the virus takes over a forum's page when they go there the virus redirects them to a virus Web and u get viruses

btw gilly i decided to mention this now that you seem to be one coding the main site, but how do you get back to the other parts of the website from the forum? because if you are in the forum and want to go back to the flash game section you have to type in www.mapleanime.com or http://www.mapleanime.com/flash to get to it. just wondering.

You can click on the forum banner and it will take you back to the main site :]

The Chatango shoutbox was from Music Story Radio..so if you want to chat with all those people still, just go to that site :)

Well, thats our logo, we had it on the old site too, i just want the old stlye back, DArK AND BLACK

I never saw the old site because I joined yesderday (08/05/09) and I like this site even though, I hate when I click Forums on the banner and it takes me to the home page (http://www.mapleanime.com)!
If you could suggest make the Forum button off the banner and makeing it under it so you can click on it and go straight to the forums that would be awesome!
