I'm sorry but let me point a few things out:
in school a 1/10 is a FAIL
for a real 0/10 you would have to basically make the story:

to receive a 'pass' you have to get above 50%, or 5/10. 5/10 is a D, 6/10 is a C, 7/10 is a B, 8/10 is an A-, 9/10 is A, and 10/10 is an A+. 8/10 avg marks gets you on the roll of most approval, and 9/10 gets you most commended. 10/10 will really never be given out.
Anyways, he just marked you a F-, Try Again.

last thing i thought about to add to my rant:
if you wish, you can think of how hard people grade you by what grade they mark equivalent to.
I would say there are the following classes of raters:
Flamers/Hardcores (high school class): grades 10-12
this group includes Zaylo and Leo. VERY hard to get a good mark from, even just a pass.
Indifferent people (middle school class): grades 7-9
this group includes people such as myself. rate fairly hard but are more supportive than the flamers
Nice people (Elementary school class): grades K-6
JadeyLady96 to name one such marker. say most stories are amazing, give a bit of advice maybe.
then you can further divide these into grades, usually depending on mood. for example, Zaylo on a good day might mark at a grade 10 (bottom of high school section) level, and in a bad mood mark at a grade 12 level by my classifications. on a very good/bad day, the person might even change classifications. example, Zaylo might mark at a Grade 9 (top of middle school class) level in a good mood, or If I'm REALLY Pissed off, I might mark at a Grade 12 level.
