Chapter 3 : Awaken, The Fire Seed

"Careful, kid!" A infighter rushed and punched the Dark Wing who was pointing his crossbow at Dawn.

The Dark Wing flew 10 feet away and landed painfully on the ground.

"Are you okay?" asked the infighter as he crouched down to pull Dawn up. "Did he hurt you?"

"I'm ok.... thanks, mister." said Dawn while he was being helped up.

"No need to call me mister, my name is Jake." said the infighter kindly. "Come on, let's go to Ellinia, it's too dangerous here."

Dawn picked up the egg and followed Jake.

Tiger's Fair Frozen lay before Craven as Pentagon licked Tiger's blood from it's lips. Ember, who was on Pentagon's back, patted Pentagon's head.

"Now, for the real target, Flame Breath!" said Ember, following with Pentagon spitting out blue-coloured flames from it's mouth. Craven dodged just in time.

"Ugh.... my arm...." Craven moaned in pain, the pain was killing him.

"Again Pentagon, make sure you aim this time, Dark Fog!" ordered Ember.

A dark cloud appeared above Craven, he had no more energy to dodge.

"Look out!" Jake dashed and pushed Craven out of the way.

"Another interupter... welll i just have to kill you all. Huh? A kid?" added Ember as he saw Dawn. "Destroy them, dark beam.."

A beam of concentrated darkness was fired towards Dawn.

"Oh no! Dawn!" shouted Jake as Dawn closed his eyes.

The pain never came, instead when Dawn felt the egg cracked.

"What?" shouted Ember in disbelief. "What is that?"

The egg cracked and a baby dragon came out. The baby dragon opened it's mouth and a beam of light collided with Pentagon's dark beam.

BOOM.. a massive explosion occured.

When the clouds of dust were gone, Ember and Pentagon was gone, Jake and Craven saw Dawn hugging the baby dragon.

"It hatched!" said Dawn, he saw a star symbol on the baby dragon's forehead. "I'm gonna name you Star!"

The baby dragon gave an answring growl and went into slumber.

Jake stood up while supporting the now unconcious Craven. "Let's go."

Jake, Craven and Dawn went to Ellinia. Dawn was craddling the Star as though it was a baby.

Rathmire wa son a ship that was heading to Orbis, not even worried about Craven.Beside his seat was a 17th year old boy whose equipments were all noob.

"Go away, noob." said Rathmire.

The boy looked up and said: "The name's Zeno. Not noobity nooby, haha." He laughed at his own joke. Rathmire snorted and looked away.

Boom- the whole ship shook. "What the-?" said Rathmire.

All the people came out from the cabin onto the deck.

A spearman was waving his sky ski on the mass. "Surrender all your mesos and maybe the great Poe will forgive you all!"

A ice lightning arch mage who was beside Zeno sighed and threw a Thunder Spear up towards Poe. Poe, who was enjoying his time, never noticed the Thunder Spear until he was knocked down from the mass and hit the deck face first. He fainted.

".... Huh... what?.." Poe opened his eyes only only to found himself tied to the pillar in the cabin. " Let me go!"

"Let him continue his screaming." sighed the arch mage. As a lot admirers was looking at him.

The whole cabin was filled with Poe's screams for the whole trip.

"Oh no, we missed the ship." said Jake as he saw the last Orbis ship flew towards the horizon.

"I'm sorry jake, if you never came and saved me-" said Dawn with a sob'

"Dont worry, it's not your fault." said Jake. Craven was coming to.

Craven shook out of Jake's grip and asked. "Who're you?"

"We the ones who saved you from that Dragon Master, but most of the credits goes to Dawn and Star here" Jake smiled at Dawn and the baby dragon.

"Hmph." snorted Craven and he looke dtowards the port, a ship was arriving. "Let's go."

Just when Craven and Dawn went up the ship, a scream echoed from Ellinia, Dark Wings wen tonto the port towards the ship.

"Go!" shouted Jake as he closed the door for the ship and shouted for the Captain to go. "I'll hold them off!"

"But....." Dawn said but it was tooo late, the ship gained speed and left the port.

"Harrr!" Jake dashed towards the dark Wings and punch every bit of them that was in his reach.

Suddenly, the Dark Wings retreated and Ember came out to the front, facing Jake.

"I've came to end this." said Ember. "Dark beam."

Jake didn't dodge in time and the beam hit him on the elbow, he flew and knocked against the ticket booth. He spat blood.

"Tut tut, Goodnight." said Ember, as Pentagon reeled in for the kill.

"I'm not.... giving up....." muttered Jake and a wall of fire, appeared in front of him and block Pentagon.

"Huh....?" he felt his wounds recover as the wall of flame circled around him, making an impenetrable dome.

"You have shown bravery, burn forever with courage, may the flame never go out...." said a voice.

A red coloured object dropped into Jake's hand, it was a red-coloured seed. Jake nodded and the dome of fire dissappeared. He saw Ember staring right at him.

"Now, let's dont play hide and seek, shall we?" Ember said.

"Oh yea, let's play it the hard way." said Jake, Ember was shocked. "Fire Seed! Burn with courage! ACTIVATE!"

Flames covered Jake's hands until his elbow. He smiled and dash towards Ember.

"Let's play, Fire Thrust!"
