A noob's life - CH 11!

Hey since i decided to come onto mapleanime today, i am writing a new chapter
questions go in Regarding a noobs life thread
A noob's life
CH 11

"Leo?" Caelin asked hopefully, wishing the mysterious man called Leo would wake up. He had been unconscious since three days ago when he was about ot tell them his master's name. He was still breathing, but he didn't move.

"Give it up Caelin." This came from Connor, standing behind him and eating something.

"I just feel responsible somehow." Caelin sighed "Do you want to go train? I'm kinda stressed."

Connor agreed and they headed towards the training center. They picked up their training weapons, Caelin with a two handed mace and Connor a two handed sword, and faced off.

"Remember, no skills" Connor reminded Caelin. They were both level 201 and had mastered their classes.

"Yeah, yeah." Caelin changed his hand position so that his right hand was about two inches below the hammer head and his left in a similar position to the counterweight at the bottom. "Let's go!" he shouted suddenly, lunging forward.

Connor sidestepped and slashed at where Caelin should have been but found him standing 5 feet back from there. He raised his sword cautiously and then suddenly lashed out, hoping to catch him by suprise. Caelin caught the blow on his handle like he would with a staff and faked left, then delivered a sharp stinging blow to Connor's right side. Connor's eyes Started to burn with an odd green glow and suddenly Caelin's started glowing a slight blue. Connor started again, charging in with his sword in front. He pretended to bring his sword back for a slash, then stabbed suddenly. Caelin span the hamer with his left hand and deflected the stab with the hammer head. Then he took one hand off the hammer, went back and picked up a shield. Connor did the same and now they faced off with tower shields and holding two handed weapons in one hand. They both swung and a strange red glow emanated from their weapons as the swung. when their respective weapons hit their respective shields, the shields shattered into a million glittering pieces with the sun making them seem magical.

"Wha-?" they said in unison, both shocked. Then the weight of their weapons kicked in and they both fell over.

Later in the tent, Caelin and Connor told Austin and Ray about what had happened and they speculated on what the cause was.

"Maybe it was an effect of those passes which let us get to level 201 so easily?" Ray guessed."After all, if level 201's was all that was needed to kill Chase, then someone would probably have already done it. But this leaves us with a few questions. One, Is there a way to control this power. And two, do Austin and I have this power aswell? Well, if you get visited in your dreams again Caelin, let us know."

"There is something I want to know though." said Austin "We have talked about killing chase and all, but we don't even know where he lives. "I think that's our first priority right now."

After this meeting was over, they all went to sleep. Caelin then appeared in a vast open grassland and saw that Connor, Austin and Ray were there too. "What?" He said, confused.

"I needed to speak to all of you at once. Please don't ask questions and listen." said an old an wearing a white robe and holding a staff which glowed Black, Red, Blue, White and Green. "Do not worry over who I am, let it suffice to say that I am the spirit of those passes which allow you to gain experience extremely fast. I am here for two reasons. One is to tell you that another will be coming to join you, and lead you to your destiny. This person will appear soon, and I am telling you so that you may allow them to join you. The second reason is to tell you about the power you discovered today. I like to call it Eflux. This stands for Energy Flux. It is activated when you either concentrate extremely hard on something that you wish either to protect or destroy, or when you are so caught up in combat that you can't stop yourself. After you activate it yourself, you will find a vision soon that determines the abilities you can use with your power. I am sorry i have to leave so swiftly after arriving but I, unfortunately, must leave now."

Caelin woke up, looked around and saw that Connor, Ray and Austin were up too. He looked out side saw that the sun was rising and said, "What the heck we might as well get up guys"

Conor went out to get some water and noticed a commotion at the gate. he walked over to check it out, pushing his way through the crowd. When he got to the edge he stopped and his jaw abandoned him for the ground because of what he saw.
