I'm guessing from those references that you watched omgpockii's Face Down MMV. That's also photo editing/spriting. She made it by editing on photoshop or paint then making it into stop frame animation (for the head moving and the hand moving). It takes a lot of skill to correctly sprite and animate ...

I use sony vegas.. and Photoshop. No camstudio for me (stop frame animation). Though my skills aren't that great. If you want to make amazing mmvs you have to practice for years and master using video editing software with photo editing software. Nothing in life can be just given to you on a platter...
